We just wanted to post pictures of Caleb with the outfit that Grandma Jo bought him for Valentines day and the hat the Uncle Kyle bought him. The hat is a little big but he will eventually grow into it. When we went to the doctor last Friday he weighed 9 lbs 9 oz so hes getting really big!

He's Getting Big!

Caleb is growing so much everyday! He is having a little trouble going to the bathroom so is fussy now and then, but other than that he is a very good baby. We go to the doctor on Thursday so I will update the blog to let you know how much he weighs and how everything goes.

After a good night sleep Caleb was ready to wake up and cheer the bears on with daddy.

Ready to come home!!!!

We got a big surprise this morning at about 8 o'clock the doctor came in and said that Caleb was ready to be discharged. When I was in labor I was running a temp and then he was running a temp when he was born so the Dr. decided to put him on an antibiotic just to be on the safe side that was suposed to be done for three days but his blood work came back normal every time so we got to come home a DAY EARLY which really made us happy. We brought Caleb home around noon and are just getting settled, but loving every minute of it. This is the picture from the hospital website. www.rhsnet.org ID number 105505.

Caleb Michael was born at 5:25 a.m. this morning after hours and hours of painful contractions.

Update!!!!

For those who haven't heard any news we are still waiting for the arrival of the baby, but for some reason he doesn't want to come into the world yet. I have a scheduled induction of labor for February 2, 2007 at 6 a.m. unless the baby decides to come before then. We will be sure to keep everyone posted.

Finally a picture of us!

This isn't the best picture ever but it is the best one we have so far since neither of us like to take pictures. The baby is growing each and everyday. I went to the doctor today and I am 36 weeks along and everything is going great. The last ultrasound we had the baby was playing with his foot and put it in his mouth. We will keep everyone posted. The due date isn't until January 26th but hopefully he comes early. For those of you who don't know we are delivering at Rockford Memorial Hospital so after the baby is born there will be pictures posted on the website.

28 Weeks and Counting

Since we haven't posted a new blog for a while I thought it would be nice to put the newest picture of the baby up. This was taken today Nov. 2nd. Kacey and I have been really busy between working and school for her so not much new has went on.

I guess we forgot to post the due date. The due date they gave us was January 26th, but when we had our first ultrasound they said that Kacey was two weeks further along then they predicted but never changed the due date. So hopefully it will be earlier. In the past few weeks we have been able to see the baby kicking so that has been real exciting for us.

Just A Few Pictures

These pictures were taken at about eighteen weeks. The first one is the profile picture and you can see the nose and the mouth. The second picture is the front view of the face. I think it looks like of scary but the doctor said thats what it is suposed to look like. So far everything is going great and we hope to have more news soon.

It's A Boy

To start off with for those of you who do not know Kacey and I found out that we are going to be bringing a new addition to the family. I know this is shocking, but we are very excited and know that everything will work out!
